Larry Gene Parsons

June 11, 1952 — March 17, 2015

Larry Gene Parsons, son of the Little Mae (Davis) and the late William Parsons, was born on June 11, 1952 in Wright County, Missouri and departed this life on March 17, 2015. He was 62 years, 9 months, and 6 days of age
Larry was a logger most of his life. He showed his kids the value of hard work and how to take care of the ones you love.
Larry gave so much love and made a difference in so many peoples lives. He was known for going out of his way to help others, even when he needed help himself. He was a caring neighbor and a friend to anyone that needed one.
In his spare time, Larry enjoyed tinkering with junk. He loved to hunt and fish with his family and friends. He was a mentor to many. Larry was an animal lover and spent a lot of time caring for orphaned and abandoned animals.
More than anything, Larry loved his mother, his kids, and his grandkids. He was loved by everyone who met him. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, William; four brothers: Terry, Walter, Herbert, and Ricky; one sister: Janice; and one daughter: Lara Dodds.
