Linda Sue Hulme

November 13, 1951 — October 2, 2008

Linda Sue Hulme, daughter of Helen (Durham) McCune and the late Lenn McCune, was born November 13, 1951 in Mountain Grove, Missouri and passed away October 2, 2008 at her residence east of Mountain Grove. She was 56 years, 10 months, and 18 days of age.
Linda loved to read, play games, and visit with her many friends. She also liked to go camping with her nephew, Rick, and his family. She enjoyed visiting in the home of her nephew, Randy, and having barbecues with his family. Sunday mornings were spent with her sister, Virginia, playing games and fixing lunch. She also enjoyed the times she got to go to Aurora and spend a few days with her son, John, and his family. While visiting in his home, she would sing and read books to her grandchildren. She loved to tell jokes and riddles and she always loved the time she spent watching movies with her brother, Ray. The time spent with her family was always very important to Linda.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lenn.
Linda is survived by her mother: Helen McCune of Mountain Grove; one son: John Miller and his wife, Vanessa, of Aurora, Missouri; three brothers: Ray Blacketer of Mountain Grove, Frankie McCune and his wife, Doris, of Mountain Grove, Gary McCune and his wife, Rayme, of Ashland, Missouri; one sister: Virginia Mabe and her husband, Dick, of Mountain Grove; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other friends and relatives that will greatly miss her.
Funeral services for Linda Hulme were held Saturday, October 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mtn. Grove. Rev. Frank McCune and Rev. Gary McCune officiated the services. Special songs were “He’d Still Been God,” “No Tear In Heaven” and “Wish You Were Here,” performed by the McCunes. Also played was “Eighteen Wheels And A Dozen Roses.” Serving as pallbearers were: John Miller, Randy Mabe, Ricky Mabe, Robert Mabe, Richard Mabe and Buddy Mabe. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery, east of Mtn. Grove, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.

Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.
No Formal Visitation
Family and friends may call Friday, October 3rd, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
