Lloyd Duane Moore

Lloyd Duane Moore, known to family and friends as Duane, died Friday, August 3, 2018 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Missouri, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

Duane was born April 5, 1954 in Springfield, Missouri, to Ernest Lloyd and Doris (Fletcher) Moore. Duane had a Bachelor’s Degree from KU (Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!!). Duane was an avid KU Basketball fan, as well as Royals, Chiefs and all things sports. Due to his health, Duane has been retired for several years.

Duane was preceded in death by his mother Doris and his brother Larry Moore.

He is survived by his father Lloyd Moore; wife of 35 years, Rose of the home; daughter, Samantha Schoonover and her husband, Jeremy; two sons, Brandon Moore and his wife, Brandace, and Eddie Moore and his wife, Cally; his sister, Janet Warden; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Duane was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
