Lois Geneva Rodgers

Lois Geneva (Welton) Rodgers, daughter of Harold and Ines (Emery) Welton, was born on November 26, 1933 in Vanzant, Missouri and departed this life on April 5, 2015 at her home in Vanzant, Missouri. She was 81 years, 4 months, and 10 days of age.
Lois attended Willow Springs #2 School in Douglas County, Missouri. On August 9, 1949 she was united in marriage to Ezra Dean Rodgers. Five children were born to this union; three sons: Charles, Dale, and Benny; and two daughters: Vicky and Patty.
Besides her parents, Lois was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law: Shirley Rodgers, and one sister: Virginia Reese.
Lois is survived by her husband: Ezra Rodgers, of the home; her three sons: Charles Rodgers of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Dale Rodgers and his wife, Rhonda, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Benny Rodgers and his wife, Teresa, of Vanzant, Missouri; her two daughters: Vicky Fox and her husband, Denzil, of Vanzant, Missouri, and Patty Fox and her husband, Darren, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; her three brothers: Kenneth Welton and his wife, June, of Success, Missouri, Floyd Welton and his wife, Fern, of Willow Springs, Missouri, and Jerry Welton of Vanzant, Missouri; two sisters; Carol Clinton of Vanzant, Missouri and Marilyn Byerley and her husband, Charles, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; 12 grandchildren: Michelle Stigall, Jannine Whittier, Chris Rodgers, Mindy Bell, Brandon Rodgers, Lindsey Watson, Charity Lutes, Candace Mayberry, Chelsea Fox, Dylan Fox, Danielle Campbell, and Whitney Fox; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who will greatly miss her.
