Lorene Laub

Dorothy “Lorene” Laub was born May 5, 1930, to Samuel and Iva (Raney) Locke in Norwood, Missouri. She passed April 5, 2021, at the age of 91.

Dorothy grew up in Norwood, Missouri. She attended Norwood schools.

Dorothy married Price Laub, and two children were born to this union.

She became a cosmetologist and a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, family reunions, and bluegrass festivals. Dorothy had hand quilted over 100 quilts in her lifetime.

Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Price, two infant sisters, Carrie and Clara Locke, and three brothers, Russell, Verlon, and Joe Locke.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Lea and her husband, David, of Marshfield, Missouri, son, Duane Laub and his wife, Mary Jane, of Springfield, Missouri, four grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren, two sisters, Beverly Dugger and Joella McCallister, and brother, John Locke and his wife, Dorothy.
