Lorene Neher

Lorene Neher, age 90, entered into eternal rest on September 14, 2017 at Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool, Missouri. She was born to Wade and Pearl (Harris) Neher on June 2, 1927 at their home one mile northeast of Mountain Grove, Missouri.

After graduating from Mountain Grove High School, Lorene lived in Altadena, California where she worked three years doing office work for National Technical Laboratories. She spent another year in Pasadena, California and in 1949 returned to Mountain Grove where she lived most of her life.

Lorene always loved music and especially loved playing her violin and piano. She was a member of Greenwood Church of the Brethren near Mountain Grove and attended there and played the piano for them as long as her health permitted. She also enjoyed reading.

Besides her parents, Lorene was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn (Neher) (Brockmueller-Jewell) Carrasco, and four brothers, Marvin Neher, Elmer Neher, Harvey Neher, and Galen Neher.

She is survived by many relatives and friends who will truly miss her.
