Louise Billups

May 19, 1926 — June 6, 2011

Lillian Louise Billups, daughter of the late Barney and Lillian Perry, was born on May 19, 1926 in Malakoff, Texas and departed this life on June 6, 2011 at her residence in Norwood, Missouri, following a long illness. She was 85 years and 17 days of age.
Louise grew up and attended school in east Texas. She was united in marriage to Scott K. Hancock on December 20, 1945. Two children were born to this union,
She later married Marion Billups. They made their home in the Norwood area for several years.
Louise enjoyed painting. She especially liked to paint country landscapes on saw blades. She also liked to play bingo, study her Bible, and tend to her flower and vegetable gardens.
She was a loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighbor. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Jo Murray and Hazel Elliott; and by her first husband: Scott Hancock on December 29, 2002.
She is survived by her husband: Marion Billups, of their home; her son: Wayne Hancock and his wife, Linda, of Norwood, Missouri; her daughter: Vicki Livingston of Mtn. Grove; eight grandchildren: Scotty Johnson, Holly Poole, Anna Howell, Danny Hancock, Noah Hancock, Sara Carran, Hannah Hancock and Job Hancock; ten great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
