She was born in Wright County and lived near Seymour most of her life. Louise graduated from Seymour High School in the Class of 1947 and attended Southwest Missouri State University to become a teacher and taught at Nation School in 1948 and 1949. Louise and Wesley farmed many years south of Seymour and she also worked at the H.D. Lee plant in Seymour, where she retired.

Louise made a profession of faith in Christ at a young age and was a longtime member of Seymour First Baptist Church.

She loved her church, being with her family, shopping, taking care of her flowers, and going to estate and garage sales.

Louise was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her long life, her Christian faith, and we will always cherish the special times we had together.
