Mae Moore

Oral Mae Moore, daughter of the late Ivor and Freda (Taylor) Brooks, was born October 24, 1934 in Peoria, Illinois, and departed this life December 9, 2016 in West Plains, Missouri, following a long illness. She was 82 years, 1 month, and 15 days of age.
Mae was united in marriage to Lester A. Moore on October 1, 1951, in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Four children were born to this union. They raised their family in Mountain Grove. Mae owned and operated a custom embroidery business and was a great seamstress.
Besides her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her husband: Lester Moore; one son: Charles Moore; and three sisters: Jean McGarr, Pat Johnson, and Tiny Simpson.


Visitation: Monday, December 12, 2016 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.

Graveside Service: Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Hillcrest Cemetery.

Burial: Hillcrest Cemetery, Mountain Grove
