Max Lloyd Mcgownd

Max Lloyd McGownd, 79, passed from this life October, 5, 2017, at Autumn Oaks Nursing Home, Mountain Grove, Missouri.

Max was born and raised in the Ben Davis Community in Texas County. He later moved to town with his parents in 1958. Max lived with his parents until their passing. He later lived in group homes until finally moving to Autumn Oaks Nursing Home where he lived until his passing.

Max enjoyed playing checkers, putting puzzles together, making jewelry, and watching baseball. He loved the New York Yankees and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Egbert and Sylvia (Baty) McGownd.

Max is survived by lots of family, and community and nursing home friends who will greatly miss him.
