Melvin Dean Perkins

Melvin Dean Perkins, son of the late Melvin Dorrel Dean and Josephine Patricia (McDonald) Perkins, was born on March 31, 1960 in Springfield, Missouri and departed this life on August 7, 2014 in Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mountain Grove, Missouri at 54 years of age.

Melvin enjoyed being outdoors, especially when he was hunting and fishing. He will truly be missed by those that knew and loved him.

Melvin is survived by his girlfriend: Darlane Colie of Mountain Grove; two brothers: Tom Perkins of Kansas City, Missouri and Daniel Perkins of Willow Springs, Missouri; and other family and friends.


Memorial Service: Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mountain Grove.

Burial: Clear Springs Cemetery, Texas County, Missouri.
