Ola Mae Lemons, daughter of the late William David and Matilda (Jones) Braninburg, was born on September 12, 1915 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and passed away on November 22, 2010 at the Houston House in Houston, Missouri. She was 95 years, 2 months, and 10 days of age.
Ola grew up in the Glenpool, Oklahoma area and married Clearn Lemons on January 27, 1942. Two children were born to this union. The family moved to the Huggins community from Liberty Mounds, Oklahoma in the summer of 1958.
Ola enjoyed reading her Bible, quilting, and working in her flower and vegetable gardens. Ola worked in the laundry department at Fort Leonard Wood for twenty years. She retired in 1980. Ola loved taking care of her family and was an excellent cook. She greatly enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Ola was preceded in death by her husband: Clearn on March 28, 1981; one daughter: Joann Rust; four brothers; and by four sisters.
She is survived by one daughter: Lorene Crewse and her husband, Floyd of Huggins; one brother: Coney Braninburg of Stockton, California; five grandchildren: David, Lloyd, and Steven Crewse, Melissa Miller, and Bradley Collins; twelve great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, neighbors, and friends who will dearly miss her.

Visitation:
Friday, November 26, 2010 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
