Patricia 'Patti' Kaye Robinett

Patricia “Patti” Kaye Robinett, daughter of the late Roy E. “Toad” and Lucille Mable (Yocum) Robinett, was born on May 21, 1942 in Mtn. Grove, Missouri and departed this life on Monday, September 14, 2009 in the Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri following a short illness. She was 67 years of age.
Patti grew up in Mtn. Grove and graduated from Mtn. Grove High School. She attended college and started her teaching career in Norwood, Missouri doing her student teaching in Mtn. Grove. Besides teaching at Norwood, she served her country as a Department of Defense teacher in Germany, Italy, Japan and Scotland for many years. She enjoyed teaching and will be remembered by former students who loved her very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Roy “Toad” Robinett on July 31, 1998 and Lucille Robinett on November 24, 1999.
She is survived by her children: Laura Thomson of Neosho, Missouri, Sarah Robinett of Lockwood, Missouri and Tom Nash of Marietta, Georgia; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the First Christian Church, Mtn. Grove.
Visitation:
Wednesday, September 16, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
