Patsy Wade

Patsy Jo (Moseley) Wade was born December 4, 1933, in Manes, Missouri, to James Augustus and Lois Lilit (Shelby) Moseley. She passed away April 5, 2022, at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at 88 years, 4 months, and 1 day of age.

Patsy grew up in the Manes area and attended Astoria School for grades 1-8. She transferred to Mountain Grove High School where she graduated Valedictorian of the class of 1951.

Patsy worked for Security Bank for thirty-four years. During that time she worked as a bookkeeper, teller, assistant vice president and vice president. She was also a bank board member for over twenty-five years.

On December 5, 1987, she married the love of her life, Bill Wade. After Patsy left the bank, she and Bill ran a very successful real estate company, Wade Realtors. Bill passed away February 17, 2019.

Patsy greatly enjoyed her strawberry plants and her flowers. Spring was her favorite time of year. She also enjoyed the wildlife that came daily to her yard to visit. One never knew what animal would be at her back door.

She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed her friendships there.

Patsy’s nieces and nephews were very precious to her. She made each one of them feel loved and special. She loved life and lived life on her terms. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Jimmie and Bennie Moseley, and one sister-in-law, Ruth Moseley.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Tim Moseley and Cheryl Fry, both of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Janet (Stacy) Bergmann of Nixa, Missouri, Gregg (Carla) Moseley of Mansfield, Missouri, Linda (Dean) Atchison and Doug (Michele) Moseley all of Graff, Missouri, Dr. Lori MacPherson of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Jeffrey (Ruthie) Moseley of Hartville, Missouri, Donita (David) Prock, Kathy (Jeff) Talley, and Lisa (Scott) McCoy all of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Karen (Kent) Mills of Nixa, Missouri, Sandy (David) Sullivan of Evansville, Indiana, Scott (Sonia) Moseley of Nixa, Missouri, Rick (Michelle) Moseley of Clever, Missouri, and Debbie Herndon of Nixa, Missouri, one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Edna Moseley of Graff, Missouri, and one sister-in-law, Loeata Moseley of Nixa, Missouri, many great and great-great nieces and nephews, one step-son, Mike (Carol) Wade of Sun Valley, Idaho, and two step-grandsons.
