Paula grew up and attended school through the eighth grade in Mesa, Arizona. She was united in marriage to Lynn Joe Chandler when she was sixteen years old, and four children were born to this union: Michael, Steven, Deena, and Jeffrey.

They named their band the Down Home Folks and they played bluegrass music all over Mountain Grove and the surrounding areas. They greatly enjoyed this opportunity and their time in the band.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and she has served in many capacities in the church throughout the years. She had a servants heart, and was always ready and willing to serve others.

Paula loved her family and loved to spend time with them. She had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. She even had the ability to laugh at herself. She was loved by many and she will be missed by many.

Besides her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Chandler, three brothers, Elmer Alton Estes, Larry Dennis Estes, and Freddy Lee Estes.
