Pauline Keith

Pauline Keith, daughter of Roy Climer and Vernie Mae Marah Climer, was born July 7, 1929, at Odin, Missouri, and departed this life December 11, 2022, at her home in Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of 93 years, 5 months, and 4 days.


On July 8, 1950, she was united in marriage to Alonzo Keith, and to this union 4 children were born.


She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alonzo, infant son, Donald Ray, 7 brothers, and 3 sisters.


Pauline is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara VanOrden and husband, Robert, and Paula Mae Keith; son, Fred Keith and wife, Judy, all of Mansfield; grandchildren, Robbie VanOrden and wife, Mary, of Marshfield, Chad Keith of Salem, and Adam Keith and wife, Nikki, of Nixa; 7 great-grandchildren, Andrew and wife, Tiffany, Austin, Abigail, and Alyssa VanOrden, Mya, Eden, and Jack Keith, 1 great-great-grandchild, Maya VanOrden; 1 step-great-great-grandchild, Benjamin Mackey; sister, Shirley Garrison of Battlefield, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, other relatives; and 2 special friends, Wilma Rains and Michelle Jones.


Pauline made a profession of faith in Christ many years ago and attended church faithfully until her health failed.


She was born in Odin and lived most of her life in Wright County. She and Alonzo moved to Mansfield in November of 1982 where they lived the rest of their lives.


Pauline was a lifelong housekeeper and a wonderful cook known for her donuts and chicken and noodles. She enjoyed going to craft shows with Paula Mae and visiting with everyone.


Pauline was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a caring neighbor and friend. We will always cherish the special times we had together.
