Randy Dean Cantrell Hilton

August 13, 1964 — January 9, 2023

Randy Dean Cantrell Hilton, son of Jack Hilton and Donna (Deckard) Hilton, was born August 13, 1964, in Marshfield, Missouri, and departed this life January 9, 2023, at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri, at the age of 58 years, 4 months, and 27 days.

On November 30, 1984, he was united in marriage to Jenny Davis, and to this union four children were born.

He was preceded in death by his biological father, Richard Cantrell, grandchildren, Aaron and Selah, grandparents, Leonard and Ruby Hilton, Everett Deckard, and Pansy, Doal Buttram, and Dwight and Lucille Cantrell.

Randy is survived by his wife, Jenny; daughters, Brittany Greenwood and husband, Nelson, of Omaha, Arkansas, Kayla Premer and husband, Dustin, of Ava, Missouri, and Amanda Hampton and husband, Charley, of Goodhope, Missouri; son, Timothy Hilton and wife, Heather, of Highlandville, Missouri; grandchildren, Dylan, Mady, Tucker, and Derek Greenwood, Mariah, Melody, and Colton Premer, Gracie Gray, Matthew, Augustus, and Waylon Hampton, and Liam and Kade Hilton; his parents, Jack and Donna Hilton, of Marshfield, Missouri; sister, Tammy Cantrell of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Rick Hilton and wife, Rhonda, of Marshfield, Missouri, and Brian Hilton and wife, Lana, of Elkland, Missouri; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was born in Marshfield and graduated from Temple Baptist Church School in Marshfield. He worked as a tree trimmer most of his adult life and was also a Southern Baptist Minister.

Randy had made a profession of faith in Christ many years ago and pastored several churches including Antioch Baptist Church, Red Bank Church, Cowboy Meeting Place, and had just started the Open Door Church on V highway north of Mansfield.

Anyone who knew dad knew that he loved talking to people, and if he really liked you, he would give you a hard time teasing you. He also had a big heart for children. He especially loved getting all his grandkids to the farm to help work calves and then the usual fish fry to follow.

He loved going on mission trips. He attended three to Canada with the Wight, Douglas, Ozark Baptist Association where they put on Vacation Bible Schools, served in the mission, and did park clean up along with witnessing to everyone they came across. A trip to Iowa to clean and repair a mission shelter. He also served as a Chaplain for the Fox Trotters Association, in Ava, Missouri.

In his spare time, he enjoyed farming and coon hunting. But what he loved the most were his grandbabies and spending time with them.

Randy was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, pastor, and friend. Even though we have lost him far too soon, we know he is in good hands, and we will cherish the many great times we had together.
