Raymond Joseph Halsel

Raymond Joseph Halsel, son of the late O.Harold and Margaret Agnes (Sterk) Halsel, was born on May 3, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri and departed this life on Thursday, September 9, 2010 in the Sac Osage Hospital in Osceola, Missouri, following a long illness, at 74 years of age.
Raymond grew up and attended school in Kansas City and graduated from Rockhurst High School.
Over the years, Raymond owned and operated his own lawn care service. Before becoming a resident of Truman Lake Manor in Osceola, Missouri, he lived in the Senior Housing in Appleton City, Missouri.
Recently, Raymond’s sister, Ruth, had an opportunity to witness to him and lead him to the Lord.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Margaret Halsel.
He is survived by his six children: Mark Halsel, Paul Halsel, William Halsel, Kathy Neal,Patricia Bengel and Michael Halsel; several grandchildren; two sisters: Agnes Saucerman of Houston, Texas, and Ruth Walters and her husband, Lee, of Norwood, Missouri; four nephews: Tony, Brian, Doug, and Dennis; four nieces: Rebecca Sue, Debbie, Diane, and Denise; twelve great-nephews and great-nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him very much.
