Richard Edward Church

Richard Edward Church, son of the late Charles Walter and Francis Elizabeth (Wright) Church, was born on September 24, 1945 in Washougal, Washington, and departed this life on December 25, 2010 at his residence in Vanzant, Missouri, at 65 years of age. Richard grew up and attended school in several states. He was a United States Army Veteran.
He was united in marriage to Carolyn Sanders on September 19, 1962 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Seven children were born to this union.
Richard was employed as a truck driver for most of his life. He enjoyed riding his quad runner, visiting with his many friends talking about politics and spending time with his family.
He had lived in the Vanzant area for the past six years.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Richard Church; a daughter: Kimmey Sue Church; and by one brother: Franklin Church.
He is survived by his loving wife: Carolyn Church of their home; one son: Robert Church and his wife, Jennifer, of Vanzant, Missouri; four daughters: Barbara Church-Peck and her husband, Larry, of Mesa, Arizona; Connie Hunt and her husband, Darrell, of Buckeye, Arizona, Carolyn Bergum of Phoenix, Arizona, and Tricia Church of Vanzant, Missouri; three brothers: Carl Spencer and Larry Church, both of Cottonwood, California, and Curtis Church of Mtn. Grove; six sisters: Nancy Croker, Patricia Knowles, and Charlene Cameron, all of Phoenix, Arizona, Cherie Childers of Mtn., Grove, Dawn Buchanan of Tucson, Arizona, and Barbara Katz of Arcadia, Michigan; eleven grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him very much.
