Richard 'Leon' Bradshaw

Richard “Leon” Bradshaw was born April 27, 1954 to Howard and June (Forrest) Bradshaw in Norwood, Missouri. Leon departed this life on July 21, 2011 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 57 years, 2 months and 24 days of age.
Leon grew up in Norwood and attended Norwood schools. He married Rita Micham on March 15, 1974. To this union two sons were born: Jason and Jared.
Leon worked at Zenith in Springfield, Missouri when first married, then in February 1977 he became employed at Mid-Am in Cabool, Missouri now known as Dairy Farmers of America. He retired from DFA on July 10th 2011.
Leon and Rita made their home in Texas County in Mountain Grove, Missouri for the past 37 years. They were blessed with many precious family members and many precious friends. Leon was the kindest, hard working, and loving husband, father and grandfather there could possibly be. He always put his family first and sacrificed himself to benefit their needs.
Leon was preceded in death by his father: Howard Bradshaw; and by one sibling: Patty Bradshaw Strunk.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years: Rita Micham Bradshaw of their home; sons: Jason & wife, Brandy, of Norwood, Missouri; Jared & wife, Sirena, of Mountain Grove; two grandchildren: Cole and Isabel Bradshaw of Mountain Grove; his mother: June Bradshaw of Norwood, Missouri; sister: Mary and her husband, Dennis Woods, of Willard, Missouri; sister: Barbara Saladin of Norwood, Missouri; brother: Hank and his wife, Sara, of Mansfield, Missouri; brother: Gene and wife, Donna, of Norwood, Missouri; sister: Annetta and husband, Mike Finch, of Mountain Grove; his mother-in-law: Marie Micham of Mountain Grove; honorary sons: Loren Eilenstine and Nathan Fry, both of Mountain Grove, and Jeremy Looper of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces, nephews and other relatives, friends, and neighbors who will sadly miss him.
