Ronnie Eugene Prock

February 27, 1953 — January 5, 2019

Ronnie Eugene Prock, the beloved son of Hanna Lou (Moseley) Prock, was born on February 27, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa, and departed this life January 5, 2019, at Cox Health in Springfield, Missouri, due to kidney failure. He was 65 years young.

Ronnie was a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. Ronnie had a mountain of challenges in his life but our “big brother” never gave up on his ability to have a normal life. Ronnie loved the Lord as well as people, animals, flowers, the outdoors, fishing, swimming, bowling, movies, and music, especially country gospel music. Most of all, Ronnie loved his “little Mama”. Our family shared a great love for each other.

Ronnie was saved at an early age and had a firm belief in God throughout his entire life. Ronnie and Hanna attended Rock Chapel church faithfully and greatly cared for all those who attended the worship services with them.

“Let your heart shine into my heart like a star” was a favorite quote of his mother’s. She passed away four days after Ronnie.

He is survived by his sisters, Patricia “Patty” Ann Amos and her spouse, Terry, and Regina Lynn Peterson and her spouse, Phillip, all of Mountain Grove, Missouri, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will greatly miss him.

The family would like to thank Autumn Oaks Caring Center and the many relatives and friends who helped through this difficult time.
