Ronnie Mills

Ronnie Mills, son of the late Roy Albert and Virgie Viola (Plummer) Mills, was born on December 1, 1940 in Shell Knob, Missouri, and departed this life on December 31, 2010 at St. John’s in Lebanon, Missouri after a long illness. He was 70 years and 30 days of age.

Ronnie grew up in Shell Knob. He married Lenora Farmer on May 19, 1962. Three children were born to this union.

Ronnie later married Linda Shaw on May 25, 1995 and two daughters were added to the family.

Ronnie worked as Plant Manager for Lebanon Farm Center since 1996. He enjoyed rabbit and coon hunting, fishing, working on the farm, and gardening. He loved his family very much and greatly enjoyed spending time with them.

Besides his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by one daughter: Penny Gunter; one uncle: JW Sanders; and by his grandparents: John and Nila Plummer.

He is survived by his beloved Aunt Norma Sanders of Mountain Grove; one son: Tyler Mills and his wife, Lori, of Mountain Grove; one daughter: Karen Freeman of Lebanon, Missouri; Linda Shaw Mills of Lebanon; two step-daughters: Tabbatha Vanderbogart of Harrisonville, Missouri, and Alisha Harker of Lebanon, Missouri; one brother: Johnny Mills of Aurora, Missouri; ten grandchildren: Brittoni and Candace Freeman, Courtney, Dustin, and Cody Mills, Logan and Dillon Vanderbogart, Emilee, Kaycee, and Layne Harker; two great-grandchildren: Jayden and Dominic Harmon; and many other family and friends who will dearly miss him.

Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at 10:00 AM in the Whetstone Baptist Church, Mtn. Grove.

Visitation:

Monday, January 3, 2011, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.
