Rosemary Gibson

December 14, 1948 — September 27, 2022

Rosemary Gibson, daughter of the late Robert Melvin Francis (Reis) Cox, was born December 14, 1948, at St Louis, Missouri, and passed away September 27, 2022, at Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs, Missouri. She was 73 years, 9 months, and 13 days of age.


Rosemary grew up in St. Louis and Hartville, Missouri. She met Theodore Gibson in St. Louis and they were married February 9, 1973. Three children, Scott, Tammy, and Kim, were born to this union. Rosemary and Theodore had been married for almost 50 years.


Rosemary was very involved in the church and did a lot of volunteer and mission work. She loved gospel music and loved to sing in the church choir. Her faith was very important to her and she was faithful reading her Bible.


Rosemary liked to play cards with friends and family and loved doing velvet art. She enjoyed nature and wildlife, and loved watching deer, eagles, and cardinals.


Besides her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Arnett.


She is survived by one son, Scott Gibson of Mountain Grove, Missouri, two daughters, Tammy Humble and her husband, Gus, of Luana, Iowa, and Kim Bruton and her husband, Joey, of Marshfield, Missouri, eight grandchildren, Kaleena Hagebush, Andrew Hagebush, Codi Humble, Dalton Gibson, Abby Gibson, Dawson Gibson, Skye Bruton, and Joe Bruton, six great-grandchildren, Arya Norton, Luke Norton, Nathan Bruton, Daisha Allison, Daryl Allison, and Freyja Hagebush, and other friends and family who will miss her very much.
