Roxy Ann (McMillan) George, daughter of the late Chester and Edna (Meacham) McMillan, was born September 27, 1941, in Canton, Illinois, and passed away at her home in West Plains, Missouri, November 29, 2020, at 79 years of age.

Roxy was raised in Canton and Havana, Illinois. She married Cecil George on July 30, 1966 in Canton, Illinois, and two children were born to this union.

Roxy worked as a nurse for a time in her early years. She later worked for Caterpillar in Peoria, Illinois, for sixteen years. The family moved to the West Plains area in 1991 where she spent most of her time as a homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed riding horses and trail riding, feeding and watching squirrels, and being with her dogs. Her most treasured time was when she was with her children and grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Roxy was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, on July 15, 2005, two brothers, Harold and Chet McMillan, and one sister, Betty Summers.

She is survived by one son, Brandon George of West Plains, Missouri, one daughter, Rebecca Clemens of West Plains, Missouri, two sisters, Mildred of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Francil Boots and her husband, Jack, of Owatonna, Minnesota, two grandchildren, Roxanne Marie Clemens and Ethan Robert Josephson, and other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
