Scott Fry

November 29, 1959 — April 4, 2009

Scott Matthew Fry, son of the late Leo Fry and Mary Dee Clark, was born November 29, 1959 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and departed this life on April 4, 2009 at his home near Mtn. Grove, Missouri. He was 49 years old.

Scott served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1980. He was united in marriage to Violet Ratterree on May 7, 1982. Two sons were born to this union.

Scott worked in construction and also spent time as a farm hand. Scott enjoyed many things in life and loved to ride his motorcycle. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. In fact, he enjoyed wildlife so much that he was inspired to become a conservation agent and had attended Missouri State University seeking a degree in Wildlife Biology. An automobile accident forced him to become disabled before he was able to reach that achievement. Scott enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything else in life.

Scott is survived by his loving wife: Violet Fry; two sons: Jeremiah Fry and his wife, Keri, and Aaron Fry and his wife, Jessica; his mother: Mary Lou Fry; three brothers: Mark Fry, Russ Pendergraff, and Brad Brewer; and four sisters: Sandra Gabbert, Laquita DeMoss, Rita Marrow, and Juanita Fry; six grandchildren: Jaimie, Alyssa, Skyler, James, Jade, and Christopher; and numerous other relatives and friends who will truly miss him.

Service to be held at a later date.
