Stephen Dennis Breault

July 12, 1952 — January 10, 2022

Mr. Stephen Dennis Breault was born July 12, 1952, in Escanaba, Michigan, to the late Donald and Ada "Faye" (Hansen) Breault. On January 10, 2022, at his home in central Florida, as his wife, Teresa McKessey, lay by his side, dear Mr. Breault peacefully released his last breath and departed this world to go home to his Heavenly Father.

Teresa and Steve were married November 28, 2021. He is also survived by his sons, Scott and Angie Breault, Andrew and Christy Breault, Brad Breault, daughter, Shelah “Lala” and Christin Tauriainen, and their mother, Wanda (Mulhern) Breault, numerous grandchildren, and sister, Donna Sharak. He was a special brother in the faith and friend to many.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Breault was preceded in death by his sister, Rosalie Eaton, and his wife, Phyllis Breault.

His children share: "Steve, our dad, was a man of strong faith. He instilled that faith in his family and upon the hearts of many people who were blessed to know him during his time here on earth. Growing up in a small town, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, gave him an appreciation for the simple things in life. As a matter of fact, he found big joy and blessings in many of the simplest things. Some of those things included bringing laughter to others through cheesy jokes, tickling ears with his singing and guitar playing, satisfying hungry mouths with grilled food, or simply talking for hours in a living room or on a porch.

As a father and husband, he lived out a strong example of his faith by prioritizing a life of prayer, studying the Word, and gathering with other believers. He worked skillfully with his hands for many years, from repairing fine jewelry in his father’s jewelry store, to remodeling and painting homes, to fixing his constantly broken-down vehicles. He was a gifted singer and musician. He passed along his gift of music by singing and playing guitar with his family, friends, in the church, attending music festivals, and participating in weekend events at the farmer’s market.

Our dad will be greatly missed by us and all who knew him. He had his share of hardships and struggles over the years, but in the last few years, we saw him grow closer to his Heavenly Father than he ever had before. He received victory over addiction, gave and received forgiveness, and mended broken relationships.

He often mentioned that this world was not his home, just a temporary place to live before entering eternity with his Heavenly Father. He’s now in the arms of his Father; a joyful, yet weary, traveler who has found his way home.

We love you, dad. Until we meet again! Scott, Andrew, Brad, & Shelah
