Ted Lee Cash

May 9, 1957 — February 10, 2008

Teddy “Ted” Lee Cash, son of Dallas E. and Helen J. (Hicks) Cash, was born on May 9, 1957 in Mtn. View, Missouri, and departed this life on February 10, 2008 in Willow Springs, Missouri, at 50 years of age.
Ted grew up in Willow Springs and graduated from Willow Springs High School in 1975. He was united in marriage to Lillian Reidel on August 4, 1978 in Willow Springs, Missouri. Two daughters were born to this union.
Ted was employed as the Shelter Insurance agent in Mtn. Grove, Missouri for twenty-seven years. He enjoyed his work and made many friends over the years.
He was an avid outdoorsman, especially when fishing and hunting. His great passion in life was turkey hunting.
Ted was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father: Dallas E. Cash; and an infant brother: Dallas Cash Jr.; his paternal grandparents: Ermine and Ethel Cash; and by his maternal grandparents: Bill and Katie Hicks.
He is survived by his mother: Helen J. Cash of Willow Springs, Missouri; his daughters: Amanda Rodgers and her husband, Heath, of Vanzant, Missouri, and Jasmine Cash and Dustin Davis of Cabool, Missouri; two brothers: B.J. Cash and his wife, Becky, of Willow Springs, Missouri, and Eddie “Sonny” Cash and his wife, Diane, of Jefferson City, Missouri; two grandchildren: Cole Rodgers and Blayne Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him very much.
Funeral services for Ted Cash were held Wednesday, February 13, 11:00 AM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel with Rev. Duane Crewse officiating. Song selections were “Broken,” and “Little Wonders.” Pallbearers were Gerald Harrison, Jim Ed Cash, Carson Cash, Chris Cash, Dave Cash, John Carr, Eddie “Sonny” Cash, and B.J. Cash. Honorary pallbearers were Donnie Riley, Lou Wehmer, Larry Spence, Jim cash, and Soda Popp. Burial was in the Sweeton Pond Cemetery under the directions of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove, Missouri.


Funeral Services: Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel, Mtn. Grove, Missouri.
Visitation: Tuesday, February 12, 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the chapel.
Burial: Sweeton Pond Cemetery, Dora, Missouri.
