Veradean 'Vera' Marcia Estes

Veradean Marcia Estes, daughter of the late Claude Marshal and Lovie Jane (Collins) Rogers, was born on October 6, 1927 in Lamar, Missouri, and passed away on May 12, 2015 at Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at 87 years of age.
Vera grew up in Wichita Kansas. She married Vernes Hubert Estes on March 24, 1945 in Hutchinson, Kansas. Four children were born to this union.
Vera was a homemaker and a military wife. She and Vernes were stationed at several bases around the world throughout the years.
Vera enjoyed having yard sales, scrapbooking, and making and collecting dolls. She loved watching Fox News and was always willing to offer her opinion on most topics. Vera greatly enjoyed her family and especially loved the time she got to spend with her grandchildren.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by her two sons: Russell Estes and his wife, Vicky, of Springfield, Missouri, and Alan Estes of Marshfield, Missouri; two daughters: Debra Burgard and her husband, Bernie, of Grovespring, Missouri, and Carol Delcour and her husband, Danny, of Norwood, Missouri; one sister: Ernestine Tenny Thomas of Fredonia, Kansas; eleven grandchildren: Kerry Bockeman, Tracy Genova, Kristina Lauderdale, Mandie Estes, Cindy Weiss, Travis Burgard, Janna Spurlin, Jennifer Boyster, Austin Delcour, Karen Dugger, and Kim Rader; fourteen great-grandchildren: Hunter, Tristian, Daniel, Sarah, Breana, Koby, Landon, Sadie, Shelby, Riley, Jacklyn, Jonathan, Nicholas, Christopher; and many other relatives and friends.


Visitation: Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM in the Chapel.

Funeral Service: Friday, May 15, 2015 at 2 PM in the Chapel

Burial: Vanzant Cemetery, Vanzant, Missouri
