Wayne Woodard

Wayne Woodard, son of the late Charles and Maude L. (Land) Woodard, was born October 28, 1930, in Hamletsburg, Illinois, and passed away September 24, 2021, at his home in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at 90 years of age.

Wayne was raised in Illinois. He was a beef and dairy farmer for many years and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, bear hunting, golfing, bowling, and playing cornhole. He greatly enjoyed socializing with his friends. Wayne also served his country in the United States Army.

Wayne married Freeda on July 27, 1956, in Kankakee, Illinois. They loved traveling together all over the United States in their motorhome. Freeda passed away in 2017.

Besides his parents and his wife, Wayne was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore and Charles.
