Wendy Curran

May 11, 1965 — January 12, 2021

Wendy May Curran, daughter of George Albert Cleaver and Patricia Briant, was born May 11, 1965, in Port Huron, Michigan, and departed this life January 12, 2021 in Springfield, Missouri. She was 55 years, 8 months, and 1 day of age.

Wendy grew up in Michigan as a young child and then moved to Florida where she met and married her husband, David Curran, on July 25, 1992, in Hudson, Florida. They then moved to and made their home in Mountain Grove, Missouri.

Wendy was an amazing daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She devoted all of her time catering to those that she loved. She lived selflessly, always anxious to spend every moment she could with her family and friends. She was a great cook and enjoyed entertaining others, she loved the outdoors, especially being at the lake or on the beach. She lit up the room everywhere she went with her one of a kind personality and a contagious smile, and a whistle that all of those who loved her will never forget. Most of those who knew her, knew her love of teddy bears and the number of them she acquired from other people show just how loved she was. She had a green thumb and loved to garden, tending to it and her many other plants. She also enjoyed canning, especially salsa and pickles that she graciously gave to everyone, even if she wouldn’t give out the recipe. She lived to the fullest, even though she suffered with so many health problems throughout the years. She put herself to the side and gave all she could to her loved ones. She had a compassionate heart for not only her family, but everyone else she met. She never hesitated to be a listening ear or a bit of advice for anyone who needed it. She made a big impact on all those that had the privilege of knowing her. She will forever be missed by those who love her.

Wendy is survived by her mother, Patricia Cleaver, her husband of 28 years, David Curran, sons, Thomas Bosse II, Blake Bosse, and John Bosse, daughter, Tiffanie Stumpff and her husband, Zach Stumpff, grandchildren, Kristen Bosse, Thomas Bosse III, Matthew Bosse, Eden Stumpff, and Emberlyn Stumpff, great-grandchildren, Annabella Walker and RaeLynn Walker, and many other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly.
