William 'Bill' Robert Conley

William Robert “Bill” Conley, son of Ralph Sigal "Pete" and Robbie Jean (Chancellor) Conley, was born on May 10, 1966 in Dallas, Texas, and departed this life on March 19, 2013 in the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was 46 years, 10 months and 9 days of age.
Bill grew up and attended school in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, and graduated from Mtn. Grove High School in 1986.
He was united in marriage to Bertie Stranghoner on June 10, 1989. One son was born to this union. Bill accepted Bertie’s daughter, Christy, as his own. The family made their home in the Mtn. Grove area for many years.
Bill was employed at various jobs throughout his life as long as his health permitted.
Bill enjoyed being outdoors, especially when gardening. He also liked to do crafts and listen to music.
He loved his family very much and was honored to be a father and grandfather. This meant the world to him. He also liked being an uncle, and was known as “Uncle Bill” by many.
He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
At the time of his passing, he was a member of the Almost Home Ministries in Mtn. Grove, where he enjoyed attending services and visiting with his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father: Pete Conley.
He is survived by his son: Travis Conley of Mtn. Grove; his daughter: Christy McIntosh of Drury, Missouri; his grandson: Blake McIntosh; his mother: Robbie Conley of Mtn. Grove; two sisters: Rebecca Jean Conley of Mtn. Grove and Elizabeth “Beth” Climer and her husband, Dean, of Nixa, Missouri; two special nephews; Chris Roach and Dylan Roach, both of Nixa, Missouri; and a host of other relatives, church family and many friends.

in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.

Graveside Service: Saturday,
March 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM
in the Hillcrest Cemetery.


Burial: Hillcrest Cemetery,
Mtn. Grove, Missouri.
