Wilma Ellen Duey

August 17, 1927 — April 18, 2022

Wilma Ellen Duey was born in Stamford, Nebraska, on August 17, 1927. She entered heaven’s gates on April 18, 2022.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, homemaker, and dairy farmer. Wilma was an excellent cook and known for her homemade chicken noodles and pancakes. She enjoyed flowers and especially her African Violets.

Wilma moved to Missouri with her family when she was 13. She and her siblings would walk to a little one room country church on Sunday mornings. Wilma faced many challenges in her life, but she always made the best out of it and never complained.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Morris Duey, her daughter, Patricia Willey, and sister, Arlene Roark.

Wilma is survived by her brother, Donnie Willey, her sisters, Doris Popejoy and Dorma Immekus, her sons, Thomas Duey and wife, Carol, and Joe Duey and wife, Kerri, her daughter, Valora Frisbee, eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
