Wilma Mae Gray

June 6, 1944 — January 11, 2019

Wilma Mae Gray, daughter of the late Maney and Irene (Franklin) Bennett, was born June 6, 1944, in Norwood, Missouri, and passed away January 11, 2019, at Rocky Ridge Manor in Mansfield, Missouri. She was 74 years, 7 months, and 5 days of age.

Wilma grew up and went to school in the Mansfield, Missouri, area. She married Lloyd Gray on March 25, 1960, in Mountain Grove, Missouri. Five children were born to this union.

Wilma was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She loved cooking and made the best pies. She grew a wonderful garden, especially tomatoes, and grew beautiful flowers and house plants. In her spare time, she liked to go to rummage sales and enjoyed collecting a variety of what knots, baby dolls, and cookie jars. She also liked watching auto racing and enjoyed the farm and being outdoors, spending time with the cattle and taking walks. She loved the cattle and often named the new babies born on the farm. She greatly enjoyed going to church and listening to gospel music. But her greatest joy was spending time with all of her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by two infant children, James and Tammie, and by two brothers, Bobby and Donald Bennett.

She is survived by her loving husband of their home, Lloyd, one son, Dwayne Gray and his wife, Sheila, two daughters, Teresa Andrade and her husband, Joe, and Nancy Neal and her husband, Jody, all of Fulton, Missouri, two brothers, Ronnie Bennett of Macomb, Missouri, and Randy Bennett and his wife, Tammy, of Mansfield, Missouri, one sister, Pat Blackwell of Mansfield, Missouri, five grandchildren, Joey Andrade, Matthew Andrade and his wife, Bettina, Justin Neal and his wife, Rebekah, Darrin Neal, and Daniel Gray, five great-grandchildren, Joe Jr., Alexa, Payton, Kenzo, and Lexie Andrade, and many other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.
