Wm. F. Hutsell

March 29, 1926 — September 20, 2007

William “Bill” Francis Hutsell, son of the late Leonard Elmer and Anna Laurie (Leighty) Hutsell, was born March 29, 1926 in Plato, Missouri and departed this life September 20, 2007 at the Doctor’s Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was 81 years 5 months and 22 days of age.
Bill grew up in the Number One Community. He joined the Army in 1943 and served his country for two years. On March 24, 1948, he married Ula Maxine Wilson in Springfield, Missouri. Five children were born to this union.
Bill was an insurance salesman for several years. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, riding and showing horses, and visiting with his family and friends. He also enjoyed his pay lakes; feeding the fish and watching children enjoy the lakes; however, his biggest thrill was making fudge for his kids and grandkids at Christmas.
Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one son: Stephen Dwayne Hutsell; two daughters: Terrie Lou Hutsell and Diane Kay Hutsell; and by two sisters: Nadine McCoy and Louise Rust.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of their home, Ula Hutsell; one son: Rick and Janet Hutsell of Mountain Grove; one daughter: Regina and Ronnie Moore of Cabool, Missouri; one brother: Delmar and Wilma Hutsell of Warsaw, Missouri; four sisters: Ruby Crewse of Milton Freewater, Oregan, Nina Prock of Mountain Grove, June and Jerry Hancock of Ellis Prairie, Missouri, and Beulah and Richard Caskey of Booneville, Missouri; ten grandchildren: Tina Stranghoner, Bobby Adamson, Eric Moore, Sadonna Williams, Anthony Kelley, Timothy Kelley, Stephen Kelley, Justin Hutsell, Renee’ Hutsell, and Nicole Hutsell; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends that will sadly miss him.
