Mountain Grove

Amber Rashel Williams, daughter of Jerry and Kathy (Griffin) Coffman, was born October 3, 1973, in Springfield, Missouri. She was embraced by the loving arms of Jesus Christ on December 1, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 52.

Amber grew up in Mountain Grove and graduated with the Mountain Grove High School class of 1992. She married the love of her life, Allen Williams, on June 20, 1992, in Mountain Grove. Together, they shared 33 beautiful years of partnership, adventure, and unwavering commitment. Their love story was one of deep friendship, loyalty, and joy strengthened by the many travels and experiences they cherished side by side.

Baptized at a young age, Amber was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her daily walk. She served joyfully as a youth leader at New Life Baptist Church, impacting many young lives with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering belief in God’s love.

For 12 years, Amber dedicated herself to coaching cheer in Mountain Grove, touching countless lives through her passion, encouragement, and her ability to inspire confidence in every young person she mentored. Her influence extended far beyond the sidelines; she was a guide, a motivator, and a steady source of support for her athletes and community.

Amber will be remembered for her warm spirit, her fierce love for family, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother “Gigi”, daughter, sister, mentor, and friend whose impact will continue to be felt for generations.

Amber is survived by her husband of 33 years, Allen Williams; her son, Austin Williams and wife, Marlie; her daughter, Ashton Emery and husband, Justin; three grandchildren, Kolt, Kyson, and Knox Emery; her parents, Jerry and Kathy Coffman; her brother, Chad Coffman and wife, Brooke; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mike and Rhonda Williams; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who will cherish the memories made with Amber.

Amber’s legacy of love, leadership, faith, and compassion lives on in her family, in the community she served, and in all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

In lieu of flowers, the Williams family has requested memorial contributions be made to "The House Church" as they are raising funds to provide Christmas gifts to local children in need.
