April Wynn (Edmonds) Renner, daughter of the late Elvin Clark and Alba Genevieve (Silveira) Edmonds, was born April 1, 1960, in San Luis Obispo, California, and departed this life May 14, 2026, at 66 years of age.
April moved to the Mansfield, Missouri, area with her family, in 1965, when she was five years old, and attended Hartville Schools. She graduated from Hartville High School with the class of 1978. After high school, April went to work in the shipping department at Tobin-Hamilton Shoe Manufacturing for many years. After the closing of the shoe factory, she went to Vatterott College and received an associate’s degree. April then went to work as a supervisor at Megavolt in Springfield, Missouri. In 2003, she had a stroke that ended her working career and forced her to retire.
In her younger days, April loved riding motorcycles. Later in life, she also enjoyed playing cards and watching True Crime and other law enforcement shows, and she also loved the companionship of her dogs. April was a faithful member of Seymour Free Will Baptist Church for many years. April never met a stranger, and she would often strike up a conversation with anyone she met. She truly loved having get-togethers with her family and friends and enjoyed visiting and being together with those she loved most.
April was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Renner, her parents, Elvin and Alba Edmonds, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Darlene Renner.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashly Renner and partner, Chris North, two brothers, Gerald Edmonds and wife, Janalyn, and Leon Edmonds, many nephews, nieces, and extended family and friends.
April was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
