Bobby James

Bobby Ray James, son of Billy James and Betty (Kracker) Thomas, was born July 11, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, and passed away May 15, 2025, at his residence in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 64 years of age.

Bobby grew up in Texas and moved to Missouri in 2001. He was united in marriage to Pamela Lane on June 7, 2003.

Bobby was a house painting contractor. He enjoyed fishing, watching baseball, and making walking sticks when he wasn’t working. Bobby was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Billy James.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela James; one daughter, Shannon Proctor and husband, James; two sons, Nick Lane and Randy Collins and wife, Samantha; his mother, Betty Thomas; two brothers, Billy James and wife, Myra, and Tommy James; one sister, Tammy Clifford; a special niece, Samantha Morgan and her husband, Nick, and their son, Jaxson; 17 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one great-grandchild on the way; other relatives and friends who will miss him very much.
