Bobby Joe Prock

Bobby Joe Prock was born November 7, 1941, at Embree, Missouri. He went to his heavenly home on September 2, 2019, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri, at 77 years, 9 months, and 26 days of age.

Bob was loved and raised by his grandparents, Tanna and Dugan Prock, who he considered his mom and dad.

At age 17, Bob volunteered for the Army, serving his country in the USA and Germany.
On November 6, 1964, Bob married Kay Elliott and was welcomed to a new family who loved him as their own.

In December 1964, Bob accepted the Lord as his Savior. He faithfully attended church as long as his health permitted. Now he has gone home to greet loved ones waiting for him.

Bob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tanna and Dugan Prock, an infant daughter, Tammy, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Noel and Gertrude Elliott.

He leaves to mourn his passing but rejoice in knowing he is free of all pain and sorrow, Kay, his wife of almost 55 years, his daughter and son-in-law, Jolanda and Chris Blackwell, and his pride and joy, his granddaughter, Kayla Blackwell.
