Charles Louis Grasher

August 6, 1925 — October 11, 2023

Charles Louis Grasher passed away peacefully in his home with his wife Elaine by his side. He was 98 years, 2 months, and 5 days of age.

Louis was born in Macomb, Missouri, to the late Charles Otto and Golda (Moody) Grasher on August 6, 1925. He lived in Macomb until he was inducted into the United States Navy on November 19, 1943. After his tour during World War II, he was honorably discharged on January 5, 1946. He moved to Kansas City, Missouri, and drove a truck for Cooks Paint and Varnish Company, retiring after 30 years. He couldn’t stay still though. He continued working various places until he was 92 years old.

Louis took great pride in his yard work and kept a pristine yard. He also enjoyed putting out large cucumber patches every year. Louis loved going fishing every chance he could. He also liked going deer hunting.

Louis loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He greatly enjoyed having a fish fry and a good barbeque with his friends and family.
