Charolette "Charlie" Koerber

Charolette “Charlie” Mary Koerber, daughter of the late Harris and Veronica Gebo, was born March 25, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York. She passed away on July 3, 2026, at her home near Mountain Grove, Missouri, at the age of 77.

Charlie received her first pair of ice skates at the age of fourteen and enjoyed ice skating in Central Park. She loved every animal known to mankind and would rescue many throughout her lifetime. She even had a baby deer for some time, nourishing it back to health. In the late 70’s, Charlie enjoyed disco dancing.

Charlie was united in marriage to Albert Koerber on August 27, 1994. They enjoyed going to auctions together and they owned and operated their own tack business. Al passed away on June 13, 2004.

Later in life, Charlie found the love of country dancing. She was always excited to go to a dance, spending all day getting ready. She loved her “bling.”

Charlie is survived by her daughter, Diana Lynn of Mountain Grove; son-in-law, Gary of Mountain Grove; brother, Richie of New York; sister, Norreen of New York; granddaughter, Nicole; two great-grandchildren; best friend and “partner in crime,” Edie; and numerous friends who will miss her dearly.
