Cherie Gault

Cherie June Gault, daughter of the late James Robert Cravens and Sherri Phyllis (Hayes) Cravens, was born July 27, 1977, in Chicago, Illinois. She passed away on June 11, 2025, at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at the age of 47.

Cherie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in education. Children were drawn to her so she was a natural at teaching and helping them with achievements. She also served as a police officer and resource officer. Serving others was her passion in life. Cherie was saved and baptized at a young age. She trusted in Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.

Cherie is survived by two sons, Dillian Roric Efvanhem and Ed Taylor, Jr.; two grandchildren, Paisley Ann Taylor and Ed Taylor, III; siblings, Robert Cravens, Candace Hood, Robin Truelove, Heavenly Gibson, Jessica Cravens, and James Cravens; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Cremation was under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove.
