Clarence Turnbull

Clarence Van Turnbull, son of the late Abra Lee and Lola Edna Turnbull, was born November 21, 1953, in Douglas County, Missouri, and passed away August 23, 2023, at his home with family by his side.

Clarence was raised in Douglas County. He married Rhonda Rackley on January 5, 1977. Clarence enjoyed being a dairy farmer. He loved riding his tractors and spending time on his farm. In his spare time, he liked to fish and go to auctions in the area. He also greatly enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Bill, Jerry, James, Bob, and John Turnbull, and by one sister, Mary Ann Turnbull.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Rhonda Turnbull, one son, Cory Turnbull of the state of Indiana, one brother, Richard Turnbull and his wife, Mary Jane, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, one grandchild, Iris Turnbull, and a host of nieces and nephews and neighbors and friends who will miss him.

The family will be holding a celebration of life event at a later date.
