Danna Louain Moore

Oct 14, 1958 — Nov 1, 2026

Danna Louain Moore, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, was born on October 14th, 1958, in Springfield, Missouri. Danna was the daughter of the late John David and Patricia (Hylton) Jones. She passed away peacefully on November 1st, 2026, in her home in Mountain Grove, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 68 years and 18 days old.

Growing up, her favorite place to go was to her grandparents’ farm. She grew up in Mansfield and graduated from Mansfield High School, class of 1976. Following high school, Danna moved to Arizona, where she met her future husband, Mack Moore. The two were united in marriage on January 8th, 1983, in Phoenix, Arizona. Three children came from this union: Jessica, Melanie, and Corwin.

Danna was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Known for her never-failing love, Danna didn’t know a stranger and loved everyone as her own. She took in all the neighborhood kids and was simply known as "Mama" to everyone. To know her was to love her; with her warm smile, fierce strength, kind heart, and quick wit, she poured her energy into caring for those around her. She loved helping others, her cooking skills were "on fire," and most recently, her newest love was her great-grandchildren. Her presence brought warmth and light into every room she entered, leaving a deep hole in her loved ones' hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, John David Jones; her favorite grandparents, Raymond and Edna Hylton and Clyde and Sarah Jones; brother, Chris Jones; and sister, Erin Jones Van Acker.

Danna is survived by her husband, Mack Moore; mother, Patricia (Hylton) Jones; stepmother, Ginger Holt and husband, Jim; brother Jeff Jones and wife, Nicole; children, Jessica Moore, Melanie Gresham and husband, Joshua, and Corwin Moore and wife, Megan; grandchildren, Chase Moore, Candience Donaho (Christian), Sophia Gresham, Zain Sutton, Anna Gresham, Trinity Brown, Zachery Turley, Jerry Baty, and Bruce Moore; 3 great-grandchildren, who were her newest pride and joy; niece, Chelsea Jones and husband, Chris; nephews, Nathan Jones and wife, Jonica, and Caleb Jones; a host of extended family members and a vast community of friends, who loved her dearly.
