David Hannaford

     David Lynn Hannaford, son of Billy Gene Hannaford and Shirley Marie (Coy) Hannaford, was born December 10, 1955, in Wichita, Kansas, and departed this life June 8, 2024, Baxter Health in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 68 years, 5 months, and 28 days.

     David was united in marriage to Gail Renne (Crocker) Brown on May 25, 1996.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bradley Hannaford and his wife, Melanie.

     David is survived by his wife, Gail; sons, Heath Hal Hannaford of Springfield, Missouri, and David Chad Hannaford of Alabama, Loren Brown, Jr. of New Bloomfield, Missouri, David Brown of Buffalo, Missouri, and Bradley Brown of Tebbets, Missouri; daughter, Desra Brown of Ozark, Missouri; grandchildren, Brandon, Valerie, Clayton, Hayden, Peyton, Jadyn, Case, Cole, Jessica, Tristen, and Mikaela; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Braxton, Crew, Zephyr, and Brooklyn; sisters, Connie Kingery of Rogersville, Missouri and Tina Nichols and husband, John, of Mansfield, Missouri; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

     He was born in Wichita and raised in Mansfield. He graduated from Mansfield High School in the Class of 1974.He was a member of Labor Union Local 663 where he was a construction labor foreman retiring from Dewitt in 2013.

     David made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member and deacon of the Antioch Baptist Church.

     In his spare time, he loved to fish, hunt, spend time with his family, tinkering with his truck, gunsmithing and working on his farm.   

     David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and a caring neighbor and friend.  We celebrate his life and will cherish the many special times we had together and are at peace knowing he is with his Lord and Savior forever.
