Diana Kay Sartor, daughter of the late Luther and Cleo (Dugger) Moore, was born December 12, 1949, in Mansfield, Missouri, and passed from this life April 20, 2024, at her home near, Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 74 years, 4 months, and 8 days of age.
Kay worked many years for the Brown Shoe Company. When the factory closed she became a graphic painter for a sign company and did that for about five years before retiring. In her spare time Kay could be found caring for her flower and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed having coffee on the porch and watching the deer in her yard. She was a very talented artist and liked going to craft shows. She also enjoyed fishing, bike riding, and going to yard sales and auctions. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They all have fond memories of time spent with her that they will cherish for life.
Besides her parents, Kay was preceded in death by one son, Danny Joe Moore; one brother, Jackie Moore; and two sisters, Janice May Hicks and Joyce Faye Edwards.
Kay is survived by one son, Don Sartor and wife, Beth, of Norwood, Missouri; one daughter, Missy McIntosh and husband, Mark, of Norwood, Missouri; five grandchildren, Luther Moore, Shelsie Chaney, Trenton Moore, Lisa Lunbeck, and Tim Bayless; seventeen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Shelby Moore and wife, Pat, and Terry Moore and wife, Linda; one brother-in-law, Bret Edwards; and many other close relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
