Donald Edward Reed II, 68, of Norwood, Missouri, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, whose warmth, storytelling left a lasting mark on all who knew him.
Born on October 27, 1956, in Brooklyn, New York, to Donald E. Reed and Norma Gayle Reed, Donald grew up with a strong sense of family and community. He dedicated much of his life to serving others, retiring after a long career as a truck driver and proudly volunteering as a firefighter in his community. His commitment to helping others was a cornerstone of his life.
Donald found joy in the simple pleasures of fishing, playing guitar, and camping trips with his family. Known for his captivating stories, he had a gift for bringing people together with his humor and warmth. Whether by a campfire or at home, he cherished moments spent with his loved ones, creating memories that will endure.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Reed; his children, Sabrina, Brandon, Travis, Dustin, and Donald III; his grandchildren, Ryan, Stetson, Matthew, Luke, Donnie IV, Henry, Schylar, Sydney, Shane, and Seth; his brother, Jerry; and his sisters, Teri and Karen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald E. Reed and Norma Gayle Reed, and his brothers, Randy Reed and Joe Reed.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.
