Donna Dawn Kabage

Donna Dawn Kabage, daughter of Carrol Wartnaby and Pauline (Lamb) Wartnaby, was born April 10, 1942, in Sheffield, Iowa, and departed this life on November 24, 2023, at her home in rural Seymour, Missouri, at the age of 81 years, 7 months, and 14 days.

Donna was united in marriage to Sheldon Kabage on March 28, 1989.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Carrol Dannen and Peter Dannen, brother, Archie Wartnaby, sister, Teri Ann Prorock, and grandchildren, Evan Cornelison and Jayme Nicole Kabage.

Donna is survived by her husband, Sheldon; daughters, Kathy Kabage of Springfield, Missouri, Lori Farris and husband, Brian, of Seymour, Missouri, Christie Pringle and husband, Dean, of Fordland, Missouri, and Kandi Pollock and husband, Brian, of Mansfield, Missouri; sons, Joe Kabage, Jake Kabage and wife, Angie, Jason Kabage, and wife, Mae, all of Seymour, Missouri and Jamie Kabage, and wife, Jackie of Mansfield, Missouri; 38 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brother, John Wartnaby and wife, Sharon, of Cilo, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Questel Dannen of Mansfield, Missouri; brother-in-law, Alexander Prorock of Burnham, Missouri and sister-in-law Charlene Wartnaby of Joplin, Missouri; other relatives and friends.

She was born and raised in Iowa and moved to Willow Springs, Missouri, in 1976 and then to Seymour, Missouri, in 1986, where she lived the rest of her life. Donna and Sheldon were the owners and operators of Sheldon’s Excavating, and she was a devoted wife and homemaker.

Donna had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mansfield Christian Church.

In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, crafts, sewing, collecting gemstones and being with her family.

Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a caring neighbor and friend. We have many fond memories that we will always cherish.
