Elsie Lea (Fullington) Huston, daughter of the late Dave and Laura (Crapo) Fullington, born May 19, 1944, in Hartville, Missouri. She departed this life August 9, 2026, at the Hartville Care Center in Hartville, Missouri, at the age of 82 years, 2 months, and 21 days.
Elsie grew up and attended school in Hartville. United in marriage at a young age, she quickly focused her heart and home on her family. A dedicated homemaker, she raised her children independently on a modest budget, always finding a way to provide. She had a warm, welcoming smile and spent her life looking after others, often taking family members into her home during times of illness.
Elsie enjoyed hunting for treasures at yard sales and thrift stores, as well as sewing. Known as a talented cook, she loved gathering her family together for large holiday meals. Above all else, she treasured every moment spent with her family.
Saved at a young age, Elsie faithfully attended The Church of God for many years. In recent years, she cherished attending services alongside her son at Renovation Church in Mansfield.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Laura Fullington; husband, Horris Huston; one son, Jimmy Tooley; one daughter, Charlotte Tooley; two brothers, Charlie Fullington and Junior Fullington; and two sisters, Betty Hill and Jo Ann Reed.
