Ervin Lee Leighty, passed away July 27, 2020, in the Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool, Missouri, where he had been a resident the last few years. He was 75 years, 5 months, and 1 day of age.
Ervin was born February 26, 1945, to James and Ruth (Skaggs) Leighty in Huggins, Missouri, and grew up on the family farm in Huggins, along with his two brothers, Jessie Earl and Jackie Ray.
Ervin liked to go fishing and coon, squirrel, and rabbit hunting. He loved going to yard sales with his parents and brothers. They would make it an all day event going to yard sales in the area.
Ervin was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth Leighty, and his two brothers, Jessie Earl and Jackie Ray Leighty.
He is survived by many cousins and friends who will miss him very much.
