Glenna Lee (Riley) Leckenby, daughter of the late Ed Riley and Laura “Cricket” (Sympson) Riley, was born September 20, 1951, in Rockford, Illinois, and departed this life December 3, 2023, at Cox Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was 72 years, 2 months, and 13 days of age.


Glenna grew up in Illinois and graduated from high school in Rockford in 1969. She was employed with a bank while in high school and continued working in banking for several years. After she moved to Missouri, she began a career in insurance and became a licensed insurance agent. She was employed with Town and Country Insurance at the time of her passing. She met Chris Davis after moving to Missouri and they spent 38 Years together.


In her spare time, Glenna liked watching television, especially NCIS, and enjoyed spending time on social media. She and Chris greatly enjoyed having barbeques and spending time together with friends and family. Glenna was also a Christian.


Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Cricket Riley.


She is survived by her companion, Chris Davis of Mansfield, Missouri, one brother, Scott Riley and his wife, Kim, of the state Indiana, her Aunt Connie (Sympson) Hendrickson of the state of California, many cousins, Chris’s siblings and nephews and nieces, several cousins and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
